As the newly elected Vice President of my local genealogical society, the local genealogy library gave us a tour of the genealogy and archives room of records that is NOT digitized. So many people think that everything is online, well it's not. It takes volunteers to scan and digitize documents. Our library has lots of Texas and Texas Republic records - deeds; vital records like birth, marriage, and deaths: newspapers; maps; and different family search books. It was very informative.
